Project Selection

Project Review Committee

Each owner/developer seeking to use TIF must complete an application which will be evaluated by the Project Review Committee. The Committee will make recommendations on the use of TIF to he Mayor and City Council.

The Project Review Committee will consist of the following members:

  • City Administrator
  • City Planner or designated representative
  • Finance Director or designated representative
  • City Attorney or designated representative
  • Mayor
  • City Council President
  • Two additional City Council members

Five members or at least 71% of the Committee, whichever is greater, must concur for a project to receive a positive recommendation. All recommendations will be forwarded to the City Council for their approval.
