The City of Wayne is accepting proposals for new playground equipment to be furnished and installed at Sunnyview Park (10th and Providence Rd), Wayne, Nebraska. Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, and possibly awarded as soon as that same evening at the Wayne City Council meeting. The City has $85,000 in its budget to invest in this project (equipment and installation only). The City will evaluate each proposal considering the amount, quality and contemporary nature of the equipment, as well as a completion date for installation. The City envisions a “tower” in the center of the equipment with ancillary pieces attached. Be aware of the trail and sidewalk through the park so equipment can be installed without encroaching into the trail/sidewalk spaces.
