[ARCHIVED] Recreation-Leisure Services Commission Vacancies

The Recreation-Leisure Services Commission, which consists of eight members, has an opening for two members. These are three-year terms. The Recreation-Leisure Services Commission meets on the third Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Community Activity Center.

The Commission interprets the role of recreation, parks and leisure services to the general public and feeds back the reactions and wishes of the public to the city administrator; reviews updates and revisions of these plans as required; and reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on rates, fees and charges applicable to recreation, leisure services, park facilities and programs.

If you are interested in serving on this commission, please contact Mayor Ken Chamberlain's office at 402-375-1733 or by email.

No person of the City of Wayne shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity.
