The City of Wayne has had a number of calls asking if water usage will be restricted in the community. As always, we are monitoring our well water levels and at this time have no need to restrict water usage.
City wells are lower than usual this early in the summer due to the severe dry conditions, but we are still very comfortable with water levels in the city wells. With that said, we encourage all of our water customers to be "Water Wise" and conserve water whenever possible. Again, at this time the City of Wayne does not plan to restrict water usage in the community.
