The Wayne Recreation-Leisure Services Department will be sponsoring Youth Volleyball for girls in grades 3 through 6 held at the Wayne Community Activity Center. Registration will take place on Monday, August 20th, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. through Wednesday, August 22nd from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the CAC. If you are unable to attend on the designated days, please contact Alex Koch at (402) 375-4803 prior to these dates to make other arrangements.
The fees for members of the CAC will be $25 for grades 5 & 6 and $20 for grades 3 & 4. The fees for non-members of the CAC will be $30 for grades 5 & 6 and $25 for grades 3 & 4.
********************The Wayne Recreation-Leisure Services Department will also be sponsoring Youth Football for grades 2 through 6. Registration will take place on Monday, August 20th (6th grade), Tuesday, August 21st (5th Grade), Wednesday, August 22nd (4th Grade) and Thursday, August 23rd (2nd and 3rd Grades) all from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the CAC.
Fees must be paid prior to participation. The fee for 5th & 6th graders is $65; 4th grade is $35; and 2nd & 3rd graders is $20.
Mouth guards are required and will be available for purchase at registration time for $1.00.
The 2nd and 3rd grade program will be a non-contact, flag football and fundamental program. The 4th grade program will be a full-contact program with possible outside games. The 5th and 6th grade program will continue, as it has in the past, with games in the Logan Valley League on Saturdays.
