The City of Wayne is starting this week with the reconstruction of Windom Street between 7th and 3rd Streets. The first phase of this project will be south of 4th Street and will take approximately six weeks. The second phase will be north of 4th Street up to 7th Street and will take about 8 weeks.
The intersection at 4th & Windom will remain open other than when crews are working on the water main or storm sewer where they cross 4th Street. The intersection will be replaced at the end of the project when the other intersections are open to traffic.
