The City of Wayne is looking for an individual to serve on the Civil Service Commission. The Civil Service Commission follows all provisions relating to the Nebraska Civil Service Act and is responsible for the hiring, dismissal, disciplinary and other issues related to Civil Servants, which are the sworn personnel for the Police and Fire Departments.
The Civil Service Commission only meets when needed. This opening would be to fill a three-year term. Interested persons must be a resident of the City of Wayne for at least three years and an elector of Wayne County.
