Wayne Planting Guidelines

• Trees will not be planted within 20 feet of an intersection (property lines extended) or within the site triangle
• Trees will not be planted within 20 feet of a stop sign, within 15 feet of a light pole, or anywhere that interferes with a sign
• Trees will not be planted within 10 feet of a fire hydrant
• Large trees should not be planted within 20 feet of either side of an overhead utility line
• Trees will not be planted in terraces where space is less than eight feet
• Trees will not be planted within four feet of an existing concrete surface
• Large trees should be spaced at least 40 feet apart and at least 40 feet from existing trees when possible
• Ornamental trees should be spaced at least 25 feet apart and at least 30 feet from existing trees when possible
