The City of Wayne Energy Incentive Program will allocate on a first-come, first-serve basis the set aside funds of the City of Wayne Energy Saving Incentive Funds to residential, commercial and industrial utility customers at a 30% cost-share rate, with a maximum of $500 per heat pump with a 15 SEER rating or equal to the latest U.S. Department of of Energy SEER requirement for federal tax incentives and in the absence of a heat pump installation, a maximum of $500 per property per year for the installation of the following energy saving practices:
- Permanently installed electric heating
- Attic insulation
- Attic ventilation
- Exterior wall insulation
- Thermal windows
- Exterior doors
- Electric heat pumps (15 SEER)
All equipment incentivized by this program must be Energy Star Rated.
Only one incentive application or payment per calendar year is allowed.
